Michael Kundel
Voorzitter van de Raad van Bestuur
Michael Kundel, geboren in Worms in 1964, studeerde in 1988 af met een graad in bedrijfskunde aan de Universiteit voor Toegepaste Wetenschappen in Worms. Na zijn studie bekleedde hij verschillende functies bij Rütgerswerke AG. Michael Kundel werkt sinds 1993 bij RENOLIT. Na meer dan zes jaar als Hoofd Controlling werd hij Managing Director van de Spaanse vestiging RENOLIT Hispania S.A.. In 2003 keerde Michael Kundel terug naar het hoofdkantoor van RENOLIT in Worms en werd hij lid van de Raad van Bestuur tot hij in 2008 werd benoemd tot voorzitter van de Raad van Bestuur. In het kader van zijn werkzaamheden in de Raad van Bestuur is hij verantwoordelijk voor de Exterior Solutions en Visual Communication Markteenheden en enkele Corporate Units van de RENOLIT Groep.
Het werk van de vereniging is van groot belang voor Michael Kundel. Hij zat 20 jaar in het bestuur van IVK Europe, waarvan acht jaar als voorzitter. Hij was ook vele jaren bestuurslid van EuPC en het VinylPlus programma. Hij was vier jaar voorzitter van de EuPC. Hij is ook vicevoorzitter van IHK Rheinhessen en lid van de adviesraad van Lebenshilfe e.V. Worms.
Buiten RENOLIT houdt Michael Kundel van sport en lezen. Hij is ook een familieman die graag tijd doorbrengt met zijn vrouw en kinderen en met hen op reis gaat.
