Thomas Sampers 1964-ben született az észak-rajna-vesztfáliai Brüggenben. Az FH Niederrhein Mönchengladbach/Krefeld üzleti adminisztrációs tanulmányait követően, amelyet 1991-ben fejezett be, az SCA Mölnlycke cégnél dolgozott marketing és értékesítési területen, ahol nemzetközi projektekben vett részt. 1998-ban az Ecolabhoz igazolt, ahol különböző nemzetközi vezetői pozíciókat töltött be. Ezután 2013-ban Thomas Sampers a Paul Hartmann csoporthoz csatlakozott, mint a nemzetközi inkontinencia marketing alelnöke. Ezt követően 2017-ben a RENOLIT-nál kezdett dolgozni Enkhuizenben (Hollandia), ahol a RENOLIT HEALTHCARE stratégiai piaci egységet irányította. 2020 óta a RENOLIT igazgatótanácsának tagja, miközben továbbra is az üzleti egységért felelős Healthcare és a RENOLIT csoport egyes központi egységei.
A jelenlegi igazgatósági tag házas, és két lánya van. A túrázás, a hegymászás, a triatlon és a sárkányhajózás azok a sportok, amelyeket Thomas Sampers a legjobban élvez. Emellett főz és legóépítéssel piheni ki magát.
