Thomas Sampers urodził się w 1964 r. w Brüggen w Nadrenii Północnej-Westfalii. Po ukończeniu studiów w zakresie administracji biznesowej w FH Niederrhein Mönchengladbach/Krefeld, które ukończył w 1991 r., pracował w marketingu i sprzedaży w SCA Mölnlycke, gdzie był zaangażowany w międzynarodowe projekty. W 1998 roku przeszedł do Ecolab, gdzie zajmował różne międzynarodowe stanowiska kierownicze. Następnie, w 2013 roku, Thomas Sampers dołączył do Paul Hartmann Group jako wiceprezes ds. międzynarodowego marketingu produktów do nietrzymania moczu. Następnie w 2017 r. rozpoczął pracę w RENOLIT w Enkhuizen (Holandia), gdzie zarządzał strategiczną jednostką rynkową RENOLIT HEALTHCARE. Od 2020 r. jest członkiem zarządu RENOLIT, a jednocześnie nadal odpowiada za jednostkę biznesową Healthcare oraz niektóre jednostki centralne Grupy RENOLIT.
Obecny członek zarządu jest żonaty i ma dwie córki. Piesze wędrówki, wspinaczka górska, triathlon i jazda kitebuggy to niektóre ze sportów, które Thomas Sampers lubi najbardziej. Gotuje i relaksuje się, budując z klocków Lego.
