Karsten Jänicke

Karsten Jänicke est né en 1968 à Kamen, en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. Après avoir obtenu en 1994 un diplôme en sciences économiques et sociales, avec une spécialisation en contrôle de gestion, marketing et logistique, à l'université technique de Dortmund, il a travaillé comme responsable de la qualité et chef de projet d'externalisation chez Thyssen Haniel Logistic à Barcelone. En 2001, il est devenu directeur général de l'imprimerie espagnole Lamigraf GmbH à Bönen jusqu'à ce qu'il rejoigne RENOLIT à Worms en 2008. Il y a occupé le poste de directeur de l'unité commerciale de l'ancienne BU RENOLIT DESIGN jusqu'en 2019, date à laquelle il a été nommé au conseil d'administration. Karsten Jänicke est désormais le membre responsable du conseil d'administration pour les unités de marché stratégiques Interior Surfaces, Roof & Water Care et Pool ainsi que pour plusieurs unités administratives.
Karsten Jänicke est membre honoraire de VinylPlus depuis octobre 2023. Il est membre du conseil d'administration de la Fondation Vinyl et membre du comité directeur de VinylPlus.
Karsten Jänicke est marié et père de deux fils. Il aime les sports tels que la course à pied, le football, le tennis de table, le padel et le squash. Il aime également voyager, lire et aller au cinéma de temps en temps.

Promoting young talents is an engine for the industry
The success of German industry is based on the expertise of its many employees. The extreme shortage of skilled workers is consequently an unprecedented threat to the entire economy. Therefore, I am surprised that we in Germany place so little emphasis on promoting young talents. After all, it can act as an engine for industry. To achieve this, however, politics and business need to make more efforts together - instead of just relying on short-term solutions.
