Karsten Jänicke

Karsten Jänicke è nato nel 1968 a Kamen, nella Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia. Dopo essersi laureato nel 1994 in economia e scienze sociali, con specializzazione in controlling, marketing e logistica, presso l'Università Tecnica di Dortmund, ha lavorato come responsabile della qualità e responsabile di progetti di outsourcing presso la Thyssen Haniel Logistic di Barcellona. Nel 2001 è diventato amministratore delegato dello stampatore di carta spagnolo Lamigraf GmbH a Bönen, fino a quando, nel 2008, si è trasferito alla RENOLIT di Worms. Qui ha ricoperto il ruolo di business unit manager dell'ex BU RENOLIT DESIGN fino al 2019, quando è stato nominato membro del Comitato esecutivo. Karsten Jänicke è ora il membro responsabile del Consiglio di amministrazione per le unità di mercato strategicheInterior Surfaces, Roof & Water Care e Pool nonché per diverse unità aziendali.
Karsten Jänicke è membro onorario di VinylPlus dall'ottobre 2023. È membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione della Vinyl Foundation e del Comitato Direttivo di VinylPlus.
Karsten Jänicke è sposato e ha due figli. Ama praticare sport come la corsa, il calcio, il tennis da tavolo, il padel e lo squash. Inoltre, ama viaggiare, leggere e andare al cinema di tanto in tanto.

Promoting young talents is an engine for the industry
The success of German industry is based on the expertise of its many employees. The extreme shortage of skilled workers is consequently an unprecedented threat to the entire economy. Therefore, I am surprised that we in Germany place so little emphasis on promoting young talents. After all, it can act as an engine for industry. To achieve this, however, politics and business need to make more efforts together - instead of just relying on short-term solutions.
